Ferries

The majority of ferry services on the West Coast of Scotland are operated by Caledonian MacBrayne Ferries Ltd (Calmac). Calmac changes from its Winter timetable at the beginning of April and to its winter timetable in the middle of October (check their pages for exact dates). The Northern Isles (Shetland and Orkney) services are operated by P&O.

However a passenger ferry service has recently started operating for the 1996 summer season so you can still sail "Over the Sea to Skye" (Before the bridge you had to sail on the sea.....)
