Mainland(Glenelg) - Skye(Kylerhea)

This unique six car turntable ferry operates on the spectacular Kylerhea Narrows, from Easter to September, and connects Skye to the Mainland by the most scenic of routes. Although this is the shortest crossing between Skye and the Mainland (very little queuing) we recommend that visitors relax and enjoy the splendour of the surrounding countryside which abounds with wildlife. Take time to visit the Kylerhea otter hide and to explore the historic sites of Glenelg and Glenbeag.

Please note that this ferry service does not begin running again until Easter 1997. However, for your information please find below the 1996 times and costs for this ferry which will be similar to the 1997 service.
