We are an independent ex-Tourist Board establishment, having left the Tourist Board to protect our individuality. A warm, friendly welcome awaits you at our modern crofthouse situated in a lovely glen overlooking Loch Pooltiel.

Self-Catering Cottages -Colquhoune's Byre and Mandallagh Cottage
Situated in the crofting township of Milovaig overlooking Loch Pooltiel towards the spectacular cliffs of Dunvegan Head. This quiet location provides stunning views to the Outer Hebrides and magnificent sunsets (weather permitting). Both cottages are very comfortable and well-equipped with fridges, electric cookers, auto-washers, microwaves, TVs. Storage heating included. Pets by prior arrangement.

Colquhoune's Byre, sleeps 2

Colquhoune's Byre is a traditional black house, nearly 200 years old. Beautifully furnished and decorated, 4-poster bed and pine furniture. The house has been renovated to retain many of the original features such as whitewashed walls and central stone chimney, with open fire in sitting room. An idyllic honeymoon hideaway!

Mandallagh Cottage is single storey and tastefully furnished with double bedroom, twin bedroom, bunk bedroom with colour TV. Living room has open fire & colour TV. Sitting room with double futon. Kitchen/dining room. Bathroom with shower. Payphone.

There is ample scope for walking, sea-fishing, birdwatching. Golf on 9-hole courses and horse-riding can be arranged. Visit Toy Museum, Croft museums, local knitwear and craft shops. Close to Neist Point, most westerly point on Skye. Visitor attractions: Dunvegan Castle and gardens, seal boat trips, Talisker Distillery, Coral Beach, MacLeod's Tables.

Directions: Mallaig/Armadale Ferry or Skye Bridge - Sligachan - Dunvegan. Just before Dunvegan, take B884 to Glendale. 10 km single track road to Glendale Post Office. Turn left at Post Office, 200metres to B&B and for keys to houses at Milovaig.
